Does it change forever? Over the past couple months, I've really thought about how different college sports would be today, if the Fab Five had went to an HBCU. Building black colleges through sports seems like a possible solution to the current lack of power and black leadership in our country.

You say this changes things, however, Maker is simply an outlier until he becomes the model. He is still very much alone. A big program provides big beds ;), ample facilities, the best coaching, and on and on and on. But it feels like athletes are "making a deal with the devil" instead of coming together and building something for the community.

It is a step and it is the only thing Maker can do as a leader! We need to see more young leaders (no demographic required) set the future for these colleges and the students that follow.
